ENTROPIA was born in 1994 with the following line-up, KARKASSA (voice), ROS (guitar) SELRAK (bass) & SAKRIFICI (drums).
ENTROPIA was a musical project which wanted to research the most powerful sound in the music. Since the beginning, they have organized the band as an assembly, no leaders and no authority within the band.
A short time after the first concerts and recording, came a demo tape called ENTROPIA.
The first concerts were found by SELRAK who was the most politically involved and combative member in the band. KARKASSA says: “SELRAK was involved in Casal Autogestionari del Clot (Anarchist association) and it was him who arranged the gig, it was weird because we realised that the audience didn’t understand our proposal too well”
After that, a lot of concerts came and, ast each concert, ENTROPIA were raising their anarchist attitude and the power of their music.
It was then that they put out a new demo tape called “La lògica d’Auschwitz”, recorded in live because it was the right way for this manner. Other was of recording could have ruined it
But, the real reasons should have been missing money and their policy which doesn’t allow them to go into the rotten mainstream circle. KARAKASSA says: “It’s the purity of live music, we are not allowed to ruin it, it’s no music, it’s a massive masturbation”. One year later a new demo tape came out, “Premaketa 99” the most extremist stuff that they have ever recorded .
And it’s when SAZ (keyboards) was included in the band and metal influencies began to reach their music. SAZ says: “When I got to the band, they were lost, they didn’t know what the fuck they wanted to do, had shitty instruments and equipment and a poor technique, I had to kick their arse”.
But something weird happened on September 9th of 1999 and anything were ever the same again. Nobody knows what really happened but the truth is that the band disappeared for more than a year and when they came back it was with a brand new Cd called “Donants kadavèrics nens” which became as the best work of the band until then.
Their music changed turning their creativity to the metal. They even changed their looks and something mystical appeared in their concerts.
ENTROPIA’s guys have explained odd things about their kidnapping and possession by unnatural creatures from the underground of our planet. These unnatural beings have given them an important challenge, to spread the anarkosatanic message.
Another change in the band was POL instead of SAZ. He was an alleged creature from the underground who taught them about different hell’s philosophies. POL says: “This guys didn’t know to play, they only made fucking noise. When I left the band they looked a band”.
After that, SELRAK & KARKASSA find a new drummer called URETRA. They give surrealistic explanations about how URETRA was found out. KARAKASSA: “One day, after our rehearsal, we were really drunk and I really needed to pee, and, of course, I did it. From the steam, a weird and revolting shape grown up. It was an entity who introduced itself as URETRA, who was living obsessed by brutal death metal”
SELRAK: “It’s true, URETRA came from KARAKASSA’s pee, I saw it!!!!”.
Now, the concerts are more and more extreme and violent on a ritualistic path. People talk about serious beside effects after their shows.
ENTROPIA have been on tour twice around Europe and they are working in new challenges (new tours, spread the anarkosatanic message, new editons,….) with a strong compromise about their policies which could be summarise in 4 words: FREE SATANISM, REVOLUTIONARY HATE
